~Choosing An Attorney~

It is best to have chosen an attorney for your business before the need for him/her actually arises.

Make sure the attorney you choose understands the specific needs of your business. When interviewing an attorney, ask whether he/she has previously worked with a company such as yours.

Referrals are usually the best way to find a good attorney for your needs. Talk to friends, family, other small business owners, etc. Also call you local bar association.

Attorney's fees vary, depending on the location of the practice, the experience of the attorney, the speciality, and whether you are dealing with a large firm or small legal office. Fees range from under $100 to more than $300 per hour.

You need to know how your attorney will figure up your bill. Will you be charged when you call his office? How are the charges calculated? What else are you charged for and how are those charges calculated? Each attorney has their own methods.
