~Business Owner's Policy~

A standard business owner's policy (BOP) provides coverage for property-fire, wind, theft, etc- liability-injury to someone in your business or by your product- and business interruption.

Among the things not covered in a BOP are worker's compensation, health insurance for employees and yourself, life insurance, disability insurance, and professional liability.

Be sure that your policy contains all the components your business requires. They are designed for small, often retail, businesses.

If your business has more than 50 employees, or very high sales volume, you may not be eligible for a BOP and will have to purchase other coverage.

BOP's are not designed to cover professionals such as consultants, lawyers, or accountants. These businesses have high professional liability with a BOP does not cover.
