The Office of Economic Development is a state run organization found in each state. They provide funding and information on other sources of financing.

These offices usually provide financing to technology and manufacturing companies. They usually loan money for starting a business in areas where unemployment is high.

You should be able to locate the office nearest you by looking in your local phone book.

Make sure you have an adequate business plan before approaching the Office of Economic Development.
